I was, Then I didn’t, Then Here I Am

I’ve had this blog for years then in 2012 my life changed.

I neglected this blog for a long time.

In January I decided to come back….

Then I left again.

I was actually thinking of just deleting it but I got to looking over old posts and decided not to.

And now here I am.

This last winter was harder than most.
Dealing with shit…
Dark…
Cold…
Grey or is that Gray?

I’m over it and have been moving on.

But holy crap!!!
Half the year is gone already.

I have been very busy when not working.
Mostly plugging away on the guitar(s) (*grin*)
Still taking lessons.
Somewhere, somehow I need to connect and actually play with others.
Pipe dream?
Maybe.

Yes I DID buy that Hagstrom Retroscape HIII I referenced in my January 12th post.
I love it!!!!
The Wildcat used to be my fav.
Not any more!!!

And just last week my instructor mentioned maybe a 3/4 size guitar would be easier for my aching fingers (arthritis) to quickly learn/master rock riffs…

So………………

He by chance had another students 3/4 Ibanez for sale cheap.

Not one to turn down a good deal I bit.

And christened thee….

Number 9

(I don’t normally name my guitars but this seemed appropriate!)

It will get new strings this weekend.
Still getting used to the smaller size.

I am still paper crafting when I have time….which I don’t have a lot of lately.
I found a new way to blend colored pencils and am waiting on an order of Glamsol and applicators.
Will see how that works!

Guess that’s it for now.

Everyone have a happy and safe July 4th!!

See you next month!

  1. Happy to see you are back. I love you so much and still worry about my oldest child. Yes I think you should connect with others and play music. Music is so important to ones soul. And it would be good for you to have that socialization.
